Sterling IRB Remembers Maziar Rezvani, M.D.
June 1972 – January 2019
Sterling IRB mourns the loss of our board member and friend, Dr. Maziar Rezvani. Dr. Maz was a pediatric allergist and immunologist in Atlanta, Georgia and served on the IRB for over a decade. His unwavering dedication to the practice of medicine and the research community is an inspiration to everyone who knew him. One patient’s mother describes Dr. Maz best: “I have never met another doctor who took so much time and thoughtfulness and care in his work, making clear that each patient and their well-being was his passion and driving force.”
In memory of Dr. Rezvani, Sterling IRB supports the Appendix Cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (ACPMP) Research Foundation, an organization dedicated to educating and funding research for appendix cancer.
